A distribution ceremony was held at Government Boys' Primary School Bari Kot in Swat on 22 December 2009. All 428 students enrolled in this school have received school kits that included; 1. School Bag 2. Uniform cloth 3. Notebooks 4. Packet of candies
Bari Kot is the same area where former Taliban leader, Muslim Khan had a home. He closed all girls schools in this area. Now the security situation has improved and all schools are running and functional.
School head teacher Mr. Iqbal Khan thanked all the donors who have contributed for this activity. He said that education is the main tool that can ensure peace in this region.
