Piggott Annexe is a Diocesan school in Hyderabad Sindh that is suffering from concerning damages on the school roof and school grounds that are filled with water due to heavy monsoon rains. This has affected the school's capacity to provide a safe environment for children to study and is depriving them to use the school ground for playing sports, organizing curriculum activities and events. The funds will help us build the areas of the school so that children can safely continue their studies.
With this project we are ensuring quality education by a provision of quality and safe environment for children to grow and learn without any fear. Piggott Annexe provides education to the poor children in the suburb community of Hyderabad, Pakistan. Many children from poor families are able to access their education through this school, and through a proper and safe environment, the children can be ensured of a really good educated future!
Currently, the school has an enrolment of a total of 258 students of which 127 are girls, and 131 are boys. With proper infrastructure, we can increase the enrolment of children and add more staff but for that, we need to have a safe place where we can accommodate the children as well as ensure their safety long term. With your support, we will be able to retain the current enrolment and also initiate new admissions that would continue supporting the school, and education in the future. Join us!
