This fall quarter was a big one for our Northwestern GlobeMed chapter! We introduced nearly 15 new members to the chapter ranging from freshmen to juniors and conducted our annual GlobeMed Ugly Sweater Sale! The new members to the chapter create one of our most diverse member pools yet with many studying a variety of fields from journalism to biology and bringing their own ideas, experiences and passions to the sphere of global health and our chapter. Each chapter meeting ends with a thoughtful ghU discussion led by our incredible ghU coordinators. GhU topics this quarter have included Haiti and a GROW fireside to educate the chapter on our progress and relationship with the Adonai Child Development Center. We are excited to announce that all proceeds from the GlobeMed Ugly Sweater Sale will go to Adonai. Northwestern students and GlobeMed chapter members alike had a great time with the sale and its success not only led to funds raised for Adonai but also greater campus awareness of our partnership. We are excited to continue engaging the Northwestern community and our GlobalGiving community on our partnership with Adonai! Stay tuned for the Winter Report coming in the new year! We wish everyone a happy holiday and New Year!
