The holiday season has always been a time of generosity. GlobeMed at Northwestern is so incredibly grateful for the all of our donors and partners for letting us continue to make an impact in our chapter as well as in Uganda. Your thoughtfulness and kindess is how we can continue doing the great work we do.
The past couple months have been an exciting time for GlobeMed and our projects in Uganda. We have just completed the process of picking the next team to travel to Uganda this summer. This team has been working fervently on their goals and projects for the summer. They have been in constant contact with Aloysious and the Adonai Centre on expectations. There has been frequent collaboration and both sides are really excited for the trip.
The chapter just engaged in a meaningful conversation about Ugandan history and current politics. It was a great chance for the members to learn not only about our partner more deeply, but a confirmation of why our project and partnership is so important. The Adonai Centre is an amazing organization for its community and we are incredibly excited to continue this relationship for the second year. We are looking forward to skyping with Aloysious and having more conversations about the clinic and visitors' center being built.
