Globemed at Northwestern is excited to report a successful Individual Giving Campaign, which raised $1,700 dollars for the Adonai Center! Thank you to everyone who donated and helped us during the start of a very exciting and promising partnership. During this quarter, we look forward to learning more about the Adonai center through Skype calls and presentations from this years GROW (Grassroots On-Site Work) team who will be traveling to Uganda this summer to work at the Adonai Center.
Applications for the National GlobeMed Summit are also out, and many of our members are looking forward to attending this annual conference, which is held on Northwestern’s campus.
We hope to continue to work towards meeting our fundraising goal of $15,000 so that we can successfully build a compostable latrine, water tank, and visitor’s center for Adonai. Thanks for keeping up with us and for your continued support throughout 2013.
