Contaminated water and poor hygiene are negatively affecting the health of people living throughout Dorian. Prolonged power and water outages cause unhealthy sanitary conditions and impact a person's ability to fight off illness. Providing Disaster Health Kits (DHK) to these individuals offers items that assist in the prevention of illness and disease. MAP International has sent over 5000 DHKs to be distributed throughout the country but needs thousands more to reach its goal of 20,000 kits.
