Hi Project zero means leaving no one behind, this project is touching lives in both central and eastern Uganda, we are likely to extend the support to Karamoja region, Karamoja people are found deadin their homes in eastern Uganda because of hunger, the government and some other agencies have started providing food to homesteads thee but theare overwhelmed by the need for more food in the area, we want to mobilize more funds to enable us provide food supplies to that community and we are calling on you and your friends and family to support this cause, we need $8000 to provide nutritious food stuffs to 500 households in the Karamoja region, we will first provide support to these few as we plan on providing more to 1000 other villages in the same region

We are so much glad for your continued support towards the food suppies project to the people of both Mpigi and Jinja districts, Daniel from Jinja is helping reach out to hundreds of families and needy kids with food supplies, household items, kids education as well as medical care, with this continued support, the people of Mpigi have been supplied with food items especially a family of three who lost their small business during lock down, the mother who is a bread winner used to run a small bar selling local brew, when the lock down was effected, it did not spare her, she could nolonger take care of the family, it is this support that enabled her pick up, out of this contribution, Annet (mother) was supported to start up another business which would not be affected by the lock down, Annet has been supported to start up a food stall, she now supplies her village and the near by town with bananas, tomatoes and other food items, "am now able to take care of my children, I can even buy scholastic materials to support their education" says Annet

As the saying goes, "a friend in need is a friend indeed", thanks for caring about these families that required all sort of support in kind, your donations have enables over 50 families to benefit from food items and other household items needed during such a difficult time, families both in Mpigi and Jinja districts have been supplied with food items,clothing, better accommodation, access to treatment and enabled to access education while in the lockdown. A vote of thanks once again for your continued support, we are moving closer to giving Tuesday this November and lots of bonuses prepared by GlobalGiving on that day and the whole period of November to December, am sure this opportunity will enable us to raise even more than we have sofar raised in the past, our friends and family members could help us spread the word out there, share our projects links and probably also donate.

Your monthly donations are making a difference in Uganda, this project will continue providing support to needy households, we continue asking you to keep supporting these households monthly and request you to ask your friends and family to support this project, this project is also supporting children get home learning materials, the children who are currently not at school due to lock down can not afford printing daily notes which are sent via smart phones.
