Map of The camp of disabled Abdan oyet has been acractive member of life in Africa for six months.He currently works at the WE centre as abracelet maker in the invisible children.Bracelet project.He is Acholi nd his home used to be in Gulu in northern uganda.However in 1997 the war there became so dangerous that he was forced to free and come to kampala where he lives in disabled persons camp known as Acholi quarters.He has tried to rehabilitate these disabled people and also helped them where possible.The community standards of living improve day by day because of his efforts. My Handcraft Hobby That Changed My Life

Map of MY HANDCRAFT HOBBY THAT CHANGED MY LIFE My neighbour is a rope maker and the lfe of this rope maker changed my life completely and i have never looked back. I used to have difficulties in meeting my family needs and my home was almost falling down. I learnt the art of making ropes.My original capital was ksh 105/- where i had earned ksh 100/-from working on someone farm and ended my own 5/- It is fullfilling from the time i learnt the skill in 1999,to date my life has change completely.I have continually dealt with business of making ropes. I buy the sisals from the market and make ropes myself i have seen my income grow and been to do marvelous and satisfying things in my life. I have been able to construct a semi-permanent home, am able to purchase school uniform for my children, pay fees and meet their medical needs.I have also been able to buy a local dairy cow that provides milk for my family needsand also sell some.This an art i do after work on my farm that produces food for my family. Lydia and Elizabeth Mayavi are radio presenters with mulembe radio station. it cannot be wished away that they have devoted their time in highlighting the social evils in our society specifically in the western region They have a popular programme that is specifically exposing negative social habits in the community. and they also allow the participation of the listeners who rebuke wrong habits with direct influence. Always the effect has been almost immediate and the shaping of t he community has been possible. Read more.

Map of Development Unemployment in kibera is very high and moracle is low.Poverty breeds indifference.However there is hope kenyan has a thrilling economy.The tea and coffee plantation are excellent and the horticultural industries is one of the best in the world. Famous for roses Industry is basic but essential and needs to be developed within two kilometres of Kibera is industrial zone of Nairobi.Industry needs skilled workers in order to develop which in turn will lead to more jobs in kibera slums.
