GIVING HELP DURING THE COVID 19 TIMES

The 400 Kids are excited the Multipurpose Hall has been completed and only awaiting that the building

be painted. Covid 19 has had a negative impact on the Communities here. Most of the families are experiencing difficulties to have basic food needs met. At Hope Community we have designed different programs to help mitigate this need.

We have been growing vegetables at our School farm to contribute to our feeding program at our School. We provide a meal everyday to the 400 kids each day they attend School. When Schools were closed we arramged for the distribution of supplies to the 400 Kids. Most of these homes had little foods available to feed the families. Thank you for the Support that we continue to receive. The Support of the donors makes it possible for many families to receive help.

We have started training these kids in other skills like tailoring. We have also opened this to the communities. We offer tailoring course to any interested to have a skill.

At the School farm we train the School kids and their families in simple farming. This helping these families to provide food for their families.

Our rain Season is about to end and we are expecting a good harcest of corn. Corn is the staple food and so a good harvest will help greatly to supply food to the many families that are experiencing poverty.

We are experiencing a reduction in Covid cases and Covid retated cases. Schools have now been opened. Our 400 kids are extermely excited to report to School.

We express our gratitude to all who continue to donate to 400 kids at Hope Community School
