With this project CPCSSL aim's to create sustainable efforts to help advocate, educate and rehabilitate those who are less fortunate in Sierra Leone. With our advocacy programs we are aiding marginalized woman in society; through our educational programs we are partnering with schools to help further the education of children facing poverty; in our rehabilitation programs we are partnering, aiding and sponsoring individuals who have physical, social and or mental disabilities.
Based on 2010 statistics 58 % of girls are getting married under the age of 18, by secondary school the attendance rate of children in Sierra Leone drop by 37% from it's primary school attendance of 74%. In our target area of Bo, only 55.8% of children in the southern region of Sierra Leone have scholastic support.
This project will help children in poverty, be able to pay for a suitable education, encourage a higher attendance rate and create opportunities for them outside of school to foster their potential. This project deals directly with the entire well-being of each child.This project takes in account the different challenges posed by different environmental factors and creates sustainable solutions to eah obstacle.
This project will help to produce contributing memerbs of society, whilst grooming the next generation of leadership and influencers.
