There are currently more than 25000 former child soldiers in eastern DRCongo according to the UNICEF and local gender office 25% are girls child soldiers, more of them would like to be reintegrated in the civilian life, but the community rejected them for the reason they were militia ,they are subjecting to suspicion ,isolation and sometimes humiliation by the community. This project will affect 30 former girls child soldiers for holistic care.
By enrolling them in school will improve our support to facilitate their sustainable returning to civilian life. By the holistic care or reintegration of these 30 former girls child soldiers associated with the armed group in the community. By raising awareness of the community members and armed groups on the protection of children's rights. Meanwhile, it ensures preventive actions by giving the closer attention to the 30 former girls child soldier.
The project will educate 30 Former girls child soldiers allowing them to regain the value social in the community and to rise out of poverty which will provide for their families' care and well-being.
