The project will target 13 families living at the beach camp.These families are classified as sever poverty, their homes are really show very poor indications & their toilets are unhygienic, unsanitary & unhealthy & it may cause some diseases if certain renovation,upgrading & development are not considered.Key renovation & repair activities will be carried out in the proposed 13 toilets like:toilet chairs,flushing system,washing sink,water & waste water networks & small ceramic tiling
Beach Camp is nearly inhabited by 90000 people. The camp suffers from different problems in several sectors including health, education & environmental. 40% of the people do live in sever poverty line, not mentioning the continuous problem of electricity & water. Some families in the beach camp do suffer from the unhygienic & unsanitary toilets which in most case the core problems for some diseases mainly to children and women specially that those toilets are built using the old system.
The project contributes to offer sanitary, healthy and hygienic environment at the 13 - targeted family toilets in the beach camp through key renovation and repair. Key renovation and repair activities will be carried out in the proposed 13 toilets like: toilet chairs, flushing system, washing sink, water and waste water networks and small ceramic tiling to the toilet walls.
promote public health and improve quality of lives of the 13-targeted families Protection of children and women & other family members; Get rid of bad smells at homes due to the unsanitary flushing system; Improve quality of lives of families leading to better function at schools & community; Get rid of mosquitoes, roaches, insects and other bad smell due to the unhygienic environment linked to the dirty toilets through creating healthy & sanitary environment at the proposed toilets.
