Rehabilitation of 200 children shipibos in Peru

200 Children suffers with the shipibo, climate change and environmental conflicts, by the flood of the Ucayali River , are orphaned, abandoned and marginalized of the native communities. Malnutrition and the negligence of the authorities of Peru, it is an injustice of the rights of children. Children, are in favor of the forests, animals and nature, with the ancestral values and cultures, which you can save for your happy life in the forest.

The fundamental problem of the situation of children shipibo, are victims of the flooding of the Ucayali River, you do not have health care, does not have the backing of the government's program, marrow, are excluded from the rights of the child, deplorable situation, are human beings, best guardians of the forest, and we need to help, improving and restoring their health and well-being.


Currently, there are 200 children in very critical situation of orphaned children in 1000 very critical situation, according to the data of the Ministry of Health of Peru. Although the solidarity of organizations are working for the alleviation of poverty of poor families, but run the risk of dying, with hunger, malnutrition and lack of protection. Critical: If we do not support these children, we lose the hope for a society of young indigenous rights activists.

Long-Term Impact

The plan of implementation of the long-term project is the sustainability of the beneficiaries, with the allied solidarity and participation of indigenous communities. The project proposes to resolve the problem, with the implementation with its own technologies of the flood that affects every year, in order to cover the whole of the population affected up to 5.000 families and we are resolved to a population of 100 thousand inhabitants in the long term.
