Completion of a third playground at Kerezo
Power of play supported us build a third Playground in Kerezo in Rwabicuma sector, after the first was built in Nyamagana Village of Hope in Busasamana sector and the second one was built in Rwabicuma sector.
Currently, 2,000 children from three sectors in ten sectors of Nyanza district have their playground. God bless donors. It is an amazing activity. Thank you for this activity that helps to prepare for a better future for the child.
The Kerezo Playground was officially inaugurated on 10/03/2021. It is a play ground built for Nkomero Primary School with 622 children. Now the children living in Kerezo have a playground that helps them play, have a better education, succeed and have a better future and protect them from dropping out of school and being homeless, drinking drugs, and becoming important people for the country and the world.
A child Julius we found playing, said that the playground will help him become Messi, the best player hearing on the Radio!
Together with The Power of Play Organization, we plan to continue to build playgrounds for rural children to prevent them from loitering, taking drugs, working hard, and practicing other vices. After completion of the Nyamagana Playground, we planned to build a second playground at the Mubuga Primary School in Kabisine Village of Hope. We received funding of $25 from GlobalGiving donations. The support raised by GlobalGiving in the construction of the playground project in Kabisine and our partnership with The Power of Play Organization helped us build this second playground.
Mubuga Primary School has 842 children from Kabisine Village of Hope. Not only are the children very happy to have a playground at their disposal but this also created 25 new job opportunities for members in the community. The Mubuga playground was officially inaugurated on January 26, 2021.
With the mission to support every child's right to learn and develop through the power of play, we are happy to report that the children and their parents are grateful and pray for the blessing of Dufatanye Organization, its partners, and donors.
When the children came to school with their parents to receive their end of term reports, they asked one child why he passed the exams highly and he replied, "I don't skip my classes, I saw a playground with other children, I was happy, I was learning and winning!"
One of the teachers also testified that the children at the school no longer drop out of school, saying: “We urge them to study with sincerity and play, which makes them successful. We are grateful to the Organization and the donors who built the playground for us. "
“Thank you for the playground. My child is happier to attend school than before,” said one of the parents.
Together with The Power of Play Organization, we plan to continue to build playgrounds for rural children to prevent them from loitering, taking drugs, hard work, and practicing other vices. We want to build a healthy community for the children where they are encouraged to participate in school, interact freely with each other, and learn new skills that will help them have a better future.

$ 1,100 donated by GlobalGiving and Reza's support, helped to build a 500-child playground in Nyamagana Village of Hope. Construction spent four weeks from 18/11/2020 to 11/12/2020. We are happy to mention that in addition to playing, this playground created jobs for 25 people in the community. Official launch was on 12/12/2020 by an official from the District.
The 500 children of Nyamagana village of hope had a great opportunity to have a playground.
One of the children's parents said: “Our children have found a place where they can relax, and they will no longer have to walk around in the village doing a lot off nothing that can push them to drugs and hard work”. Another parent said: “God bless Dufatanye Organization and those who supported the construction of this playground at one time I saw these things on Television when children for the rich are playing”.
Dufatanye Organization plan to build a second playground at Mubuga Primary school for 842 students in Kabisine village of Hope and all surrounding villages. This playground will give access to children to play different games and develop their mental skills while they attend school.

To date we have not been able to raise any money for the playground, except what Reza with Power to Play has raised. The children desperately need a safe place to play that can keep them out of the lake where many lose their life since they don't know how to swim.
We desire so much for them to have opportunity to play, learn from each other and exercise. School may not start until January, so now would be a great time to build the playground. Reza can come since the testing requires 5 days for Corona.
