The Dounia Project team whose members are located around the world met virtually to discuss the progress of the implementation of the new version of the project. We started the recruitment process by identifying two classrooms in two different countries that will pilot this new phase of the initiative.
The guides and toolkits that will accompany our partners in the implementation and operation of the project are completed and will be sent to the selected countries.
The guides focus on web TV shows production including editorial and content production, research and interview processes, video making, editing, online distribution, and marketing. Moreover, the toolkits contain step-by-step lessons on global collaboration, cultural sensitivities and awareness, facilitation of online interactions, discussing global issues and how they are represented at the local level.
We are extremely excited to finalize the selection process before the end of the year and get started with the training of staff in 2017.
Project reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
