We thank you for generous donations! As our goals for the year 2015 was highlighted: PAAJAF Foundation aims to work hardly to bring our dreams to reality:
• By working closely with our donors and looking for project sponsors, partners and donations for the PEI and its literacy programmes, buying land for the school, currently the school in a rented venue.
• Resource the school, library, purchase of school bus with donations in kind or sponsorship.
• Sponsor 12 additional children by giving the education to increase our number from 12 to 24 children.
• PEI – Scholarship school project – the preschool students will be increased from 20 to 60 students and help hiring teachers at the school. We also want to provide free lunch to the kids at PEI as these kids have little food at home.
The second quarter of the year 2015 had not been easy for us due to the lack of resources but we are more than happy and thank you our generous donors who have donated to our project: Help Underprivileged Children in Ghana to sustain us. The period under consideration had not been easy but a great progress registered:
• The goal to sponsor 12 additional children by giving the education to increase our number from 12 to 24 children. Though we have not been able to increase the number from 12 but we are help you have help to the current 12 children who are under sponsorship have been able to remain in school.
Thank you very much, it has been amazing to watch the personal development of the children as they return to school, walking talk, brilliants and healthy! The children called PAAJAF Kids are: Ebenezer, Mary, Erica, Josephine, Nidaar, Stephen, Christpher, Vera, Judy, Madicy, Kelvin and Lordina. All the children have raised self-esteem, increased confidence, are continuing their studies and performing well and are in good health. Surprisingly, Madicy name was wrongly stated, he is known as Modecai instead please we apologies for the name confusion. The picture below is: from left is Judy, then Vera and the last list are Philip and Modecai.
• PEI – Scholarship school project – the preschool goal is to increase students and hiring teachers. The studentship to be increased from 20 to 60 students by the close of the year 2015. Hiring teachers for the school and also to provide free lunch to the kids.
Your donation to the project has enabled us to additional 15 students to the students at PEI, currently we have 35 students from the goal set for the year. We appreciate your effort, without you we could have not achieved this great changed please find this video about the project and photos : Our Video!

• Resource the school, library, purchase of school bus with donations in kind or sponsorship.
Another goal is to resource the school, in view of this, we have established partnership with worldreader to receive e-reader. They have been successfully located a sponsors for the devices what PAAJAF needs is to clear the device from port, installation, launching and maintenance cost to Worldreader so that we could received the device from the organization. We have created a post for this and we are looking for sponsors, please would sponsor us : https://www.globalgiving.org/microprojects/e-readers-to-poor-in-ghana/ ?
• By working closely with our donors and looking for project sponsors, partners and donations for the PEI and its literacy programmes, buying land for the school, currently the school in a rented venue.
The venue of the PEI Preschool project will expire on October 2016. For the meantime while we are working to get donors and sponsor for our own land and build our own school. We need classroom maintenance, else at the said date above, the landlord of the premises we have rented will kick us out from the premises and if that happens, the project will close of which will affect our students and the community. Please we will be creating a post for the classroom maintenance so that we can at maintain the classrooms for at least another two years. Would you be our sponsor or a donor so that we will not be kicked out?

Thank you for your consideration and your love towards our beneficiaries!

Through micro-projects you've also funded Clara, Lordina and Sara. Great news that Sara has been fully funded through generous and amazing Donors like you, and she will start school after the Easter break on 13th April. Sara is 9 years old and is under the care of her ageing grandmother as an orphan, with your help she will now have her schools fees covered and uniform, books, health insurance and school meals. She is delighted and send her love and gratitude to you.

We here at the PAAJAF Foundation are most grateful to usher us into a new blessed year 2015. The Kids here at PAAJAF would like to register their appreciation to you all for your contributions for the betterment of their lives and future. Your donation to this our project has been great help to our children and been a greatly beneficial. In particular Gilbert and Ebenezer have started Polytechnic in Accra and they would like to say that they are most grateful to you:

Appreciation Letter from Ebenezer

"I Ebenezer, wish to thank Paajaf and the donors for their immense support to me, I had admission at Accra Polytechnic and am so much grateful for assisting me to pay my school fees, I say God truly bless you" - Ebenezer

Appreciation Letter from Gilbert

"It is with joy that I Gilbert write this letter to thank Paajaf Foundation and all the donors that have made it possible for me to continue my education. I had admission into Accra Polytechnic and if not for your support and kindness, will not be able to continue, so I take this opportunity to say thanks to everyone who has helped me and may God bless you all, Thank you" - Gilbert

All the children we are currently sponsoring through your generous donations are still in school. Currently the school is on vacation and all the children will return to school in the new term on January 7th, 2015 and this includes:
Ebenezer, Gilbert, Mary, Erica, Josephine, Nidaar, Stephen, Christpher and Vera. All the children are continuing their studies and are performing well and are in good health.

Fortunately, during 2014, you have successfully provided funds towards the education of Madicy and Judy and Vera. So, Judy and Madicy will start school on Janaury 7th when school resumes for the first time in a long time! We still need to fundraise for Judy as she was only part-funded and have resumed fundraising on her behalf.

This month of January 2015, we will be adding Sara, Clara and Lordina into fundraising to look for supporters for them so that they will be able to stay in school for the 2015 Academic year. We need your help to spread the word to help them to receive good and quality education, please can you help? You can create your personal fundraiser page at www.paajaf.org or sponsor particular child you would like to fundraise and campaign for.

Since we have just started a new year and we would like to extend our reach. We will value your input a lot; please do you have any comment or advice for PAAJAF to help us to meet our goal, we'd love to hear from you!

Thank you for your AMAZING and WONDERFUL support! We wish you a very happy new year!

The new academic year has just started and we here at PAAJAF are most grateful to you, our donors of the children at PAAJAF. We were happy to say, yes, Vira, Mary, Christpher, Josephine, Nidaar, Stephen and Erica had good and successful academic year in the 2014 academic calendar. This has been successful through our donors since without the support you provided, we could not have achieved so much. So we say a big thank you to you all.

How cheerful Josephine and her friends were seeing her schools fees and feeding been settled, and school supplies were also been purchased. Josphine is now in Class 3 and she is 9 year olds who is now in cheerful mood. Josephine is a brilliant girl who loves singing. She will strike you as very happy and outgoing. She is currently attending the Real Boat International School (REBOINS) in Gbawe and is enjoying school. We made Josephine one of our children in urgent need of sponsors, due to her family’s financial situation and her willingness to learn. Her 11-year-old sibling Kelvin attends the same school. Josephine and Kelvin experience difficulties due to their parents’ inability to provide them with the school materials but you have made their faces beautiful by putting smiles. We want to help Josephine and her handsome brother attend school permanently. We find it necessary to support her and her brother through this child sponsorship programme at PAAJAF.

Oh you did not support only Josephine, but what do you see in the face of Vira and her mother? They were amazed from the support they are receiving from by seeing Vira going to school have more stable and peaceful lives, since Vera’s mother is also able to join the school where Vira attends school. So we support the mother to buy school supplies, home feeding, school feeding and clothing. Vira is a kind girl that has been abandoned by her father and lives with her mother but you have not abandoned her too to tears on her face. As you are aware, Vera’s mother raises alone. Vira is presently attending school Winners Family Preparatory School in Gbawe. Playing with dolls and playing group games are his favorite activities. She is in Class 2. With your sponsorship, Vira will have new opportunities to learn and grow. She is one of the PAAJAF children waiting for a sponsor. PAAJAF provides for her wellbeing with basic needs food, clean water, health care and nutritious food.

Christpher also has gotten her fees and everything settled. He is the happiest child in the world at the moment. He attends Mercy School complex and he is in Nursery 1. Christpher is an inquisitive young boy who lives with his parents and his newborn brother. It is clear that with the support to attend school he will be able to do well and have many opportunities will open up to him! Another child, Abigail, without your help could have not completed Junior High School. She is a brilliant girl at school who tops her peers in all subjects. She is very responsible both at home and at school. She is very diligent and her future in education looks promising. Her result for the B.E.C.E is in now has got 08 meaning highest grade. She has got Aburi Girls Senior High school. However would she be able to go to the school? No, why? Due the financial difficulties faced by her parents. During the Junior High School time, she was facing the same problem which she was not allow a regular provision of the school materials, including a school uniform and text books. As a result, Abigail has frequent gaps in class attendance that then require her to study alone. PAAJAF recognizes that Abigail needs urgent help and is looking for sponsors and you came in to support her. Would please come to her aid?

Another child helped by YOU is Stephen also whose school fees been paid, and we are seeking support for the mother of the poor family of Madicy and Judy. These poor children at first were attending Winners Family School in Gbawe. Unfortunately they have to stop going to school since the mother and the step father could be able to pay their school fees and other supplies and it is sad to hear this situation. When, I heard it I approach the woman again but there is nothing we do since no fund. I was told this sad news by Vira’s mother who says in the same house with them and in fact, their situation is an eye-saw. So, what we can only do now is to appeal on their behalf.

Is that the final of the children been sponsored? No, no, tell us what you see! You supported her education, she is 9 years old now and in Class 3 and attends The Pearls School. She is lively and is hoping to become a Bank Manager in the future. Luckily, her favourite subject at school is Maths, as you have already read about her, so she is already on the right path. She is Erica! As you have already read about her, Erica has gotten her school fees, school meals, uniform, and school supplies been purchased. Sadly, Erica is an orphan, as her mother passed since she was 2 years old and PAAJAF has been supporting her through the help of individual donors! THANK YOU! With sincere gratitude! Your support is changing the lives of these young people all for the BETTER!

All the children have a voice, a new voice filled with confidence, self-esteem and joy and they say THANK YOU for your generous support and care about their lives. We are pleased to bring you our latest update about the lives you changed for the better.

This school term, the following children received support:
1. Erica  2. Mary  3. Abigail  4. Christpher  5. Josephine  6. Stephen  7. Vira  8. Nidaar

Erica is in Class 2 and she is doing well in school, her school reports all say good and excellent for her progress. She was happy to see her school fees fully paid, school lunch and classes’ fee for the whole term this reduced much stress in the family and in Erica. When the school term started, the first month I had phone call from her auntie who takes care of her, “Mr. Kyei, the school has begun again, please, your child’s school, how are things going on?” And I told her, not a problem, we can pay the school fees, on behalf of her donors.

Erica is dual orphan (no mother and father) and she is under the care of her auntie who four children in addition to her. The aunty is unemployed and a single mother also this makes

Mary is a very cheerful and brilliant girl and THANKS to YOU she is attending Class 1. She is a paternal orphan (the father has passed away). Currently Mary’s education is being financed by people like YOU. If it wasn't for previous donors/sponsors and their help, Mary would have stayed home. But Mary is currently in school with all her fees and other expenses paid!

Please keep a look out for GLOBALGIVING BONUS DAY on 16 July beginning at 9am EDT and for one day only, donations received will be matched by our partner Global Giving by 40% this means for a $20 donation we receive an additional $8, this helps children like Erica and Abigail to stay in school. Countdown with us here! Please keep in mind that even $10 can go a long way!

Abigail is a Junior High School student, has just completed school this month – June 2014. The completion of her education as a JHS graduate has been possible with the assistance of selfless donors like YOU. Currently she is at home waiting for her result which would be in on September 2014. YOU have made one achievement in her life now.

Your support is helping Stephen aged 10 years, I met Stephen in front of the school gate crying for been missing classes since his father has been unable to settle his fees, after checking their situation, funds are used to settle his school fee this term. Christpher - a preschool student who will move to nursery 1 next term. Nidaar, Josephine, Vira and Stephen, are all in school and doing well. They have had their school fees been paid and they are happy to receive your support.

Josephine was unable to go to school for 3 weeks due to there being no money for her school fees and her brother Kelvin. Josephine is already on the record of PAAJAF. So with your generous support we stepped in and YOU have put a smile on Josephine’s face by helping her to return to school.

THANK YOU for your efforts and belief in these children's potential, we look forward to the new school terms with hope and gratitude.
