On September 8 Sonic Peacemakers will commemorate the 2 year anniversary of the tragic suicide bombing of Afghan sisters Parwana and Korshid killed while warning US military personel by releasing a homemade video called "The Exploding Crucifixion."
Plans are still being worked on for Lanny's next trip to Pakistan and Afgahnistan to assist with the family of Parwana and Korshid as well as ongoing projects in Karachi-Lahore and Islamabad.
Recordings are currently taking place in Los Angeles for the Projects "An Afghan Lullaby"and Pakistan (I Have a Dream)- Lanny along with Farhad Humayun from Pakistani band Overload performed in Los Angeles August 2014 promoting Sonic Peacemakers message of hope & healing through music-Lanny has begun working with veterans in a healing through music effort with the aim of bringing togethervets from Pakistan and Afghanistan with vets from the US to promote peace and harmony.
