Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Sonic Peacemakers plans to record new songs with Pakistani music stars Atif Aslam, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Sanam Marvi in the next few months. Production on the Sonic Peacemakers musical tribute to Malala is basically finished except for some final touches and recording some vocal tracks with our Pakistani and Americans artist Ambassadors. We are also planning on producing a video to go with the song. Another song, the long awaited collaboration between Sonic Peacemakers, ex-members of Guns N' Roses and Atif Aslam, will be finished in September and released soon thereafter.
Sonic Peacemakers is also planning concerts in New York, Los Angeles and Houston for early in 2014, featuring accomplished musicians and recordng artists from Pakistan and America. These concerts will raise funds and awareness for the children of Pakistan and Haiti. Some of the artists onboard are guitarist Gilby Clarke of Guns N' Roses, singer/actor Donovan Leitch and Robbie Wyckofff, an amazing vocalist who is currently on tour with Roger Waters, one of the original members of Pink Floyd.
Sonic Peacemakers is also producing t-shirts, keychains and other merchandise to raise funds for our projects. These items will be available to the public in conjunction with the release of the new songs we're working on.
