Sonic Peacemakers is currently in production on a collaboration between some very big names in the music business for a song in tribute to Malala Yousufzai and The Children of Pakistan. The collaboration will feature Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and several other notable artists such as Robbie Wykoff (The Singer for Roger Waters' Band) which will be announced just before the song's release.
The song, inspired by the bravery and elegance of Malala and so many children just like her who just want a chance to be educated and have a better life, will shine a spotlight on the children of Pakistan and other nations where so many children suffer from poverty, war and extremism, in hopes of creating more numerous and effective international avenues of support so these kids will have a better chance to realize their potential and help create a better future for themselves, their families, their nations and all Humanity.
We plan to complete production this summer and release the song in early September, as well as produce a video for the song and a behind the scenes film documenting the creative process behind the song, which was written by Sonic Peacemakers co-founder Lanny Cordola.
