POAS (PARKVIEW ORPHANS ACHIEVERS SHELTER PROJECT is a project and a program designed and geared towards addressing the milliard challenges facing the HIV/AIDs orphans and vulnerable children in the society. The project is geared towards addressing some of the issues like right to education, right to food, right to shelter, right to love and social hope, and such POAS has established a feeding program, psychosocial counseling and support program, formal and informal learning program, health advocacy strategies, etc, Since POAS was founded in 2012 we have managed to struggle and offer hope to more than 250 children. We started with about 7 Children and today we have a population of about 250 children feeding, learning and some residing at the centre. Our programs are also powered by the UN- charter on the rights of the children, the rights of the African child as enshrined in African children rights charter and the bill of rights as provided for in the Kenyan constitution.
