The New Year has started with extremely happy tidings for Kashf. Pakistan was one of 8 countries that had been selected worldwide to celebrate the UN year of Microcredit 2005 by holding the Global Entrepreneurship Awards on 31st December 2005 in Islamabad.
Our client Irshad Baji won the award and secured the top most position amongst clients from other Microfinance Institutions. Irshad Bibi was awarded Rs. 75,000 and her loan officer Ms. Iffat Ghulam Fatima was awarded Rs. 10,000.
This is a great honor for us all and it makes us proud of ourselves and of our work. Congratulations to all of you and we hope that the New Year brings many such successes our way.
