As Pakistan battles an unprecedented catastrophe, funds are desperately needed to rehabilitate destroyed healthcare infrastructure and bring medical services back on line to stave off further loss of life due to disease and malnutrition.
Monsoons have flooded one-fifth of Pakistan displacing thousands of families and leaving millions homeless, but no major relief efforts have yet begun to reach the hardest hit regions. Funds are needed to run on-going medical relief efforts. Donations will pay for food aid, safe drinking water, medical staff, medicines, vaccinations, emergency equipment, ambulance rental, fuel, food, water and logistics to get these supplies through the difficult terrain.
We have multiple facilities in heavily devastated areas that cater to mothers and children in remote communities. We deliver food, drinking water, provide medical services, while also supporting livelihood initiatives.
SHINE Humanity and its ground affiliate CDRS will aid with rehabilitating healthcare facilities and services in severely affected areas of Pakistan. This provides urgent care, out-patient services, in-patient care, humanitarian assistance and and prevents the spread of diseases.
