Safe Drinking Water for Flood Victims in Pakistan

We happily share that during 2017 early quarter AHD distributed some 530 Nadi filter units in 530 families in Badin district & for the Year 2017 the target set about 2,500 Nadi filter units distribution, we are hopeful for the fund raising in summer season for this project and also ask old donors to help us to reach our 2,500 families with only 25,000 US $.

I hope this amount is nothing against you all, we hope you all will share your donations for this project to help us out 2,500 rural poor communities in Sujawal District of Sindh Pakistan.

Women Empowered through Nadi filter technology at Local level

Dear all donors and supporters of “Safe Drinking Water for Flood Victims” project we are please to share that Women Empowered at local level, the women once get filter (mud pot) and its training to construct at their household level for the their family for access to safe and clean drinking water, it is observed that women empowered and happy to use this technology at their household level as well as long term basis.

AHD safe drinking water Nadi filter now planned to help some 5,000 families in the year 2017 through this project, for this purpose we will need huge funds, but we are confident for urgent help

EVER GREEN, SUSTAINABLE, LOCALLY ADOBTABLE TECHOLOGY A NDAI FILTER

AHD promoting EVER GREEN, SUSTAINABLE, LOCALLY ADOBTABLE TECHOLOGY A NDAI FILTER technology in rural poor communities, since 2010 to till a date more than 3,950 Nadi filter units distributed and promoted in some 3,950 families through this project.

About 39,500 individuals getting clean and safe drinking water at their door step through this project, the project impact is more and highly acceptable in rural communities, water borne disease unseen in the families using Nadi filtered water for their drinking purposes

For the year end 2016 we happily share that during 2016 AHD distributed some 1,230 Nadi filter units & for the Year 2017 the target set about 1,500 Nadi filter units distribution, we are hopeful for the fund raising in Christmas season for this project and also ask old donors to help us to reach our 1,500 families with only 22,500 US $.

A Women Using Nadi Filter since last 04 years to access safe and clean drinking water

AHD promoting ACCESS TO SAFE AND CLEAN DRINKING WATER in poor rural communities since 2006-2007 and till to date AHD reached more than 37,000 Nadi filter so far and helped more than 233,100 people all over Pakistan.

A women learn Nadi filter making and now using it at her house successfully since last 04 years, she share that now their family and children saved from water borne diseases. She share that now we will use it, prepare new filter and can maintain our self.

AHD happy over skill promotion in rural women, the project helping poor rural families to learn and act for the sustainable development at their household level

Urgent: Safe drinking water necessary in Monsoon Season, we need donation to support more families

With reference to the AHD Model safe drinking Nadi filter, as you all know the Nadi filter technology promoted in more than 2,500 families till to date and about 27,500 people have access to safe and clean drinking water at their household level.

You also know Monsoon start in Sindh and we need more support from your side to help more families, we plan to help 500 families in this monsoon season for this purpose we need some US $ 7,500, so far reached 1,200 US $ this month, we still need US $ 6,300. I hope you all once support in small donation will help us to reach in this quarter to 500 families and about 4,500 more people will have access to safe and clean drinking water during this monsoon season.
