The project envisages to, socially, physically, economically and religiously empower, support orphaned and vulnerable children
The current situation of orphans is so serious that if all OVC stakeholders do not act now in a concerted manner, this situation will have a negative impact on the future of the country. It is estimated that there are over 130,000 orphans and vulnerable children, and these include over 70,000 orphans plus an additional 60,000 children with parents who are still alive, but so ill, destitute, or unfit. The projects will affect at least more than 20'000 of the OVC and destitute in the region.

Children will be ensured access to shelter and protection from abuse and violence, exploitation, discrimination, trafficking & loss of inheritance. Vulnerable individuals will be to produce or acquire sufficient appropriate food to meet short and long term nutritional needs. Providing and improving NCPs in collaboration with other stakeholders, such that they have constant supply of the OVCs needs. by establishing of backyard garden strengthening linkages in the constituencies to foster sustainability build longer term household food security through building longer term household food security provision for agricultural tools, equipment appropriate technologies and skills. Quite a total number of about 14'000 households will be targeted .
