New projects!

Scaling Verified Climate Impact

The momentum keeps building! Over the past months, Oncra has grown into one of the most active open carbon removal registries in the world. Our network of innovators, land stewards, and partners continues to expand — accelerating the global shift toward verified, nature-based carbon removal.

What’s New

  • 50+ new projects certified across diverse removal pathways — from regenerative agriculture and agroforestry to biomass burial and timber construction.

  • 10 new partner organizations joined our mission, strengthening regional verification capacity and collaboration.

  • New Oncra Registry Update incoming — bringing improved transparency, real-time data insights, and enhanced traceability for carbon removal units.

  • Applying for ICVCM and ICROA accreditation — a major step to align Oncra with the highest global standards for integrity, quality, and impact assurance.

Why This Matters

Each certified project represents more than carbon removal — it’s a story of regeneration, community empowerment, and open accountability. With these milestones, Oncra is helping set a new benchmark for credible, equitable, and transparent climate action.

Looking Ahead

As we prepare for accreditation and roll out our new registry features, our focus remains clear:

  • Enabling open verification for every tonne of carbon removed

  • Supporting small-scale and innovative projects to access climate finance

  • Building trust through transparency, collaboration, and open data

Stay tuned for the full registry update and new project highlights coming soon on oncra.org.
