It is inconvenient to know that despite the advancements in technology, there are still many types of illnesses with no cure. Significant changes, however, in the global health landscape, chronic diseases continue to threaten a person's quality of life. Its lingering effects have been apparent with the increasing number of children who suffer from asthma, obesity, diabetes, and tuberculosis among others.
Kids Be Aware is committed to conducting activities that will educate parents about the cause and effect of chronic diseases. Therefore, workshops, trainings, and seminars will be conducted to achieve the following goals and objectives: To enable parents to determine the risk factors that causes illnesses among children To help parents realize "parental expectations" to limit children with unhealthy habits and/or behavior
