Atlas Corps is excited to share with all of our supporters that because of your help, we are able to double the size of our program! In September we had 5 Fellows from India and 4 Fellows from Colombia, coming to volunteer in the U.S. and 3 Fellows from the U.S. going to volunteer in Colombia. Because of your support, we are able to grow and expand our successful model of promoting international cooperation in the nonprofit sector.
In addition, we've been able to increase our Host organization cost share from $17,000 to $22,000 per Fellow (from 40% to 60% of our program expenses). This will not only help us become a more sustainable organization, but also reassures our supporters that your donations go directly to supporting the international development leaders in our program. Our administrative expenses are very low and more than covered by the cost share, so your donations go directly to the Fellows.
To help us celebrate this success and be ready for the year ahead, we would like you to consider making another donation to Atlas Corps. Perhaps you would double your donation? If you gave us $10 to help us win Americas Giving Challenge, maybe you can give $20. If you were able to donate $100, perhaps you could double it to $200. We have been able to start this ambitious growth thanks to your past support, please consider supporting us again now so that we may kick-off the second year of our Fellowship with a bang!
Sincerely,
Scott Beale
