Vocational Training for Deaf Students
First of all Community Action Nepal would like to thank all the individual donors who believe in our project. Based on the crowdfunding in and outside country in September 2017, Community Action Nepal (CAN) had received a total amount of Rs. 1,47,060 that was again transferred to Sindu Deaf School’s School Management Committee’s bank account.
With the available funding, the School Management committee discussed and developed the budget for mushroom cultivation. On December 12th 2017, Project Manager visited to the school and found out that they have already purchased raw materials, namely Hay, Hay Cutter, fire wood, Drum, and started constructing the temporary house for the mushroom cultivation in the school premises.
During the monitoring visit, Ms. Maina Karki, Principle of Sindu Deaf School informed that the school has already hired a two trainers and student will participate in the mushroom cultivation training and its practical after constructing of temporary house for mushroom.
The project will share the outcome and impact of the project in near future.
