What we did this year!

Dear Friends,

Another year is nearly over, and Alliance for Community Trees affiliates have been doing great work for trees in towns and cities everywhere! Here are just a few of the things we did together this year:

  • Planted over 41,000 trees with the help of 26,000 volunteers in celebration of National NeighborWoods Month
  • Hosted our second Policy Summit in Washington, DC, informing national leaders and promoting urban forests
  • Secured new national program partners to support local greening
  • WITH YOUR HELP, met a $100,000 match challenge, securing funds that will make it possible for us to continue to provide essential services, grants and networking opportunities to local urban forestry organizations

We couldn't be prouder of our members and their accomplishments!

With just one week remaining in 2010, won't you include ACT in your holiday giving? Your donation will help us support community-based greening through training, grassroots organizing tools, and other resources to help communities plant and care for trees. All contributions are tax-deductible and it's easy to give online through GlobalGiving.

Thank you for your support and friendship!

Sincerely,

Megan Odett
