On April 30, approximately 200 people attended the "For Love of...the Arts" gala event at Abernethy Center in Oregon City. Kathy Harrison coordinated the gala, which raised approximately $52,000 to support North Clackamas Schools and students with scholarships, innovative teacher grants, arts education and activity fees. The NCEF also serves to provide pass-through funding to support the Backpack Buddy program, the Lunch Buddy program and the Wichita Family Support Center. If you love the arts, it's not too late to make a difference!
