Summary

This project will support relief efforts in Myanmar by funding Dignity Kits. Each kit contains essentials such as clothing, hygiene items, personal care items, underwear, raincoats and flashlights. Other general needs and health supplies such as mosquito nets, sleepings mats, portable power stations, food packages, water purifying tablets, medicine packages and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) will be provided as well.

Challenge

On March 28, 2025, a devastating 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar, resulting in significant loss of life and widespread destruction. Fatalities: The earthquake has resulted in at least 1,644 deaths in Myanmar, unknown total number. Injuries: Over 3,400 individuals have sustained injuries. Displacement: Thousands have been displaced, requiring urgent humanitarian assistance.

Solution

The financial support will directly contribute to purchasing and distributing these essential supplies. The ongoing earthquake response effort is crucial in meeting the immediate needs of those affected, and these resources will significantly enhance our ability to provide aid to vulnerable populations.

Long-Term Impact

The project will provide much needed support for people while they rebuild their lives, homes, schools, and businesses.
