Following the success of the Community Action Campaign Phase 1, a Campaign Learning Workshop will take place from October 23rd to 25th, 2013 in St. Lucia. The workshop will be facilitated by Alleyne Regis and Jessica Robbins, and include campaign coordinators, coalition members and relevant partners from St. Lucia.
The purpose of the workshop is to establish an invigorated network of My Community Action Campaign coordinators to drive local action around climate change, conservation and sustainable livelihoods
priorities. The workshop will focus on designing activities for Community Action Campaign Phase 2.
Participants will discuss successes and lessons learned from the My Community Action Campaign Phase 1, identify key themes to successful campaigns, and brainstorm Phase 2 of the Community Action Campaign. Participants will also meet with key partners and stakeholders, visit primary and secondary schools and involve local musicians in designing Phase 2. The workshop will conclude by celebrating the successes and achievements of Community Action Campaign Phase 1.
We would like to thank you for your continued support and generosity towards My Island-My Community. Your contributions have made all of the achievements of the My Community Action Campaign possible, and will continue to do so as we launch Phase 2 of the Campaign.
