Every day Malawian children are being orphaned by the death of their parents. The MCP Project is a urgent collaborative effort to protect innocent children who are lost in the aftermath of the HIV/AIDS crisis. Formed in 2003 in a small village of Southern Malawi, the Childcare Organization is leading this partnership of rural relief organizations
Innocent children of Malawi continue to suffer and be orphaned by the impact of HIV and AIDS. It is estimated that over 2 million children in Malawi are vulnerable and at risk of serious deprivation, violence, abuse, exploitation and neglect. Many of these children lack healthcare, shelter and are denied access to education. Many are being raised by older siblings. We are in critical need of funds to fight for their protection.
Your support will immediately impact lives and help us reach more children. We are working tirelessly to provide safe shelter, nutrition and education while mitigating the effects of the death and the loss of parents to ensure that children recover and develop to their full potential. Given our socio-economic conditions, each dollar has a dramatic effect.
With your help, we are stabilizing lives and inspiring strong, educated and grateful leaders who are determined to change the world. By 2018, we will be serving 40,000 children (and families) and giving them the tools, education and protection necessary to inspire leaders who recognize and respond to the generosity they have been given. Your contribution will be treasured by our community and received with celebration!
