In Uganda refugees live a life of poverty, without employment,without hope while they have talents in different fields,such as agriculture of mushrooms.With this project,we have assurance that 80% of 25,516 elderly refugees living in Uganda (20,412)will have access to nutrition and education.This project will change the lives of refugees. Each elder's refugee household will receive an important quantity of mushroom which will help him to feed the family need and the school fees for his children.
Refugees' Poverty in Uganda,The problems that affect urban refugees in Kampala are:lack of access to employment, lack of access to healthcare,lack of housing,lack of food,and no access to education for their children.Many children are still vagrants in streets,which exposes them to difficult living conditions.The starvation cause many problems to refugees who are elderly and and causes incurable diseases.Which infect all the family at the end of the day.This project will be helpful to refugees.
This project will be very beneficial to all refugees living in Ugandan in general and to elderly refugees in particular. With this project, the elderly refugees will take care of themselves, who has the courage to help them. After the harvest of the mushroom, these refugees will be able to feed their families, pay school fees for their children and defendants meet the needs of their families and of themselves, such as getting treatment without waiting for help.
This project will will put an end to the famine of refugees, We believe that with a production of 5 tons of mushrooms we will be able to feed 80 refugee families and the rest will be sold to allow refugee's elders to have money for other needs, to pay children's school fees , medical care, and other primary needs. 200 people will benefit directly from this project and 300 indirectly. The problems of famine and lack of refugee employment will end because they will be occupied by their mushroom.
