Mossy Foot Project finances 15 clinics around Soddo, Ethiopia, including a leather shoe making shop. In month of November and Decembers, we continue making progress in treatment and prevention of mossy foot disease. Here are a few stats to share:
Patients examined and treated: 5767, including 344 new patients Leather shoes made and distributed: 728 Socks distributed in the month: 100
The project also includes elements of vocational training so that patients are able to learn means of making a living. Only only many have had their feet treated, but also have left the love and hope they never had before. In included in the attachment the story of Genet Gaga.
