On June 17, 2009, 3 female first year medical students from the University of Colorado will travel to Kisiizi Hospital, southwest Uganda, where they will spend 6 weeks checking on and continuing the distribution of Insecticide Treated Mosquito Bednets to the Nursing Students (100), Staff (300 plus an average of 5 family members each) and patients (thousands) of the hospital.
These nets were purchased partly with donations provided through Global Giving, and are greatly appreciated by all who receive them.
