ECRF is cultivating Moringa fruits trees in Ghana that will serve as source of revenue and cover the educational costs for Ghanaian orphans! Our farm is in Kose; a rural village in Ghana, we have 2.5 acres of land with 120 Moringa trees and with just a small investment these trees can become fruit-bearing. The leaves and the fruits of Moringa will then be sold, providing a source of revenue to be used to help cover the educational needs of the orphans and impoverished children we care for.
Orphan children from broken families are often forced to start working from an early age to earn their living but to keep them going to school is absolutely vital. Every day 5,760 more children become orphans in the world and Ghana is not an exception. Most of them are without care or protection . They are at risk of exploitation and abuse. Some have already fallen victim to criminal gangs and traffickers, who sell children into forced labor or the sex trade.
ECRF has planted 120 Moringa trees in 2.5 acres of land to serve as source of revenue to cover the educational costs for the orphans and the impoverished children it cares for, and with just a small investment these trees can become fruit-bearing. The leaves and the fruits will then be sold to pay for the financial cost of enabling a child's education. We monitor sponsored children regularly to ensure they continue to thrive in a secure home environment and are attending school regularly.
Education is one of the most precious gifts we can give. In today's world, it is more important than ever to ensure children have access to a good quality education. At school, students not only bring their minds and imaginations to life, but also empower themselves for an independent future full of opportunities. The project has the potential to raise $50,000 over the next 5 years for ECRF orphan's sponsorship and we hope that you can join us in this innovative project
