Miteri Peace Learning Center for Commemoration

In order to commemorate the people who were dying or affected during a decade more war in Nepal, Miteri Peace Learning Center is under construction. It composed of statute, meditation hall, cafe, e-library, multipurpose hall and sports where all educated and uneducated children, youths and adult will engage locally and globally for peace and justice. It can either promote social recovery or crystallize a sense of victimization, injustice, discrimination, and the desire for revenge.

Miteri Peace Learning Center is a form of memorialization at a most remote, poor and conflict affected region in Nepal. It satisfies the desire to honor those who suffered or died during conflict in Nepal, during a decade more Maoist Insurgency in Nepal many people (security, civil servants, civilians, Maoist) were died and many people injured, kidnapped, abducted, torture and so many other sufferings so everyone will get benefit who loves and seeks peace and justice.


It remains essential even after memorial built by encouraging survivors to explore contested memories of the past, promote learning and critical thinking, and facilitate ongoing cultural exchange are more likely to advance social reconstruction and an important tool of transitional justice initiatives.The word Miteri derived from culturally accepted where people are in mutual love and respect regardless caste, class, religion, region and all.

Long-Term Impact

Miteri Peace Learning Center is a form of memorialization in Jumla. Through this memorialization, the long term peace will ensured through cultivating peace culture among children, youths, adults and all. This center will be the hub for global peace and justice where people who loves and seeks peace will join this campaign from globally though positive mind set, action, visiting and many other creative actions.
