The challenges of Covid-19

There is no country in the world which has escaped the terrible effects of the Corona Virus Pandemic. Uganda has under 1,000 reported cases to date, mainly attributed to the prompt and severe early lockdown. But the number of cases are increasing daily and we are far from the peak we fear.

Mission 4 Water drillers have been in lockdown for three months now, staying home and staying safe within their families as much as possible. And we are grateful that we have been able to continue to pay the staff thanks to generous donations.

We have of course responded to urgent requests for repairs to existing boreholes so that people can continue to enjoy clean and safe water, and continue with the hygiene they have been enjoying.

We extend a big thank you to all our donors and we pray that you all stay safe during these challenging times.

The Mission 4 Water team.
