Not all wounds are visible, Youth persons consistently face threats depression, anxiety disorders, and suicide thoughts to life challenges. This project will help 50 Youth individuals to increase the chances for early intervention which can result in a fast recovery, reduces negative adjectives that have been set to describe our people with a metal illness.
LGBTIQ persons have faced challenges in life that have impacted their mental health, our worlds are upended by stigma and discrimination, threats, insecurity, a systematic denial of their basic human rights, coronavirus and that worry, isolation, loneliness, depression or generalized anxiety disorder have become collective experiences shared by literally everyone. LGBTQ youth are particularly at risk for negative mental health outcomes.
Mental health professionals to donate 4 hours per week to provide free, easily accessible, confidential counseling to rural Youth persons, Studies show that timely attention and counseling can make a huge difference in the success of treating mental health issues such as post-traumatic stress. Provide a timely reminder that mental health is essential and that those living with mental health issues are deserving of care, understanding, compassion, pathways to hope, healing, and recovery.
Participants are better able and more likely to help others regarding mental health issues and determine how to handle stress, how to think, feel, and act, relate to others and make healthy choices.
