200 slum young mothers & Girls receive the benefit of the skill training and around 150 young mothers & Girls are empowered to take active part in community and contribute for decision making . Beneficiary will acquired skilled in the market oriented livelihood training. Such as tailoring, cutting and designing. Once this skill is acquired the young mothers & Girls.
Slum community, mostly get employed as domestic help or as unorganized helper in some factories. They are not organized, do not have information about the entitlements and schemes, that benefit them. But due to lack of any skill they miss the employment opportunities. young women/ Girls also find themselves helpless, as they do not have any skill to get engaged in any alternative income generation activities.
Equipping with employable skill and leadership skill : 100 mothers & girls with beautician course and 100 young mothers & girls with tailoring and designing skill training. women & girls with young mothers & girls on education and social awareness for enabling them to get gainful employment enhance their social status
This programme is sustainable as there is already adequate infrastructure and more equipments need at present with Meraparivar, there established rapport and contact with local young mothers & Girls , above there is continuous need of empowering young mothers & Girls with skill and knowledge for enhancing their social,cultural and economic status in the society.
