Malnutrition is a serious problem and children are dying of hunger in Ekambeng Village Community. Malnutrition is one of the leading causes of infant mortality in Ekambeng Village Community so we are implementing our objectives to prevent children and families from being malnourished in quest for a better well-being.
The worsening gap between the affluent minority and the deprived majority is a common problem in Ekambeng village. Many of the children of low income families are stunted or underweight. Growth retardation is a sign of either partial or chronic malnutrition. Some people look after their control spending a lot on loosing their body weights in health clubs, while starving children are fighting with dogs over scraps of food in the garbage behind hotels inadequate for their health and well-being.
Mobilizing and sensitizing the Ekambeng Village community through an outreach programme and organizing workshops on methods to enhance their cookery skills. This project will also provide funds which will enable us buy food stuffs for children and families suffering from famine, hunger and malnutrition in Ekambeng Village Community acknowledging the fact that health is not merely the absence of sickness but the total well-being of individuals, families and society as a whole.
Every one has the right to a standard of living in Ekambeng Village Community adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family including food, medical care, and social services. This project will in a long run create awareness to the ignorant families both born and the unborn to save lives impacting the Ekambeng Village Community in a positive way..
