This project will support 50 women to produce 300 modern beehives to help them repatriate and save a colonies of bees fleeing to other regions because of the deforestation of nature. Protect the environment by planting 50,000 trees with flowers on a 4-hectare area and 50,000 fruit trees on 10 hectares. Purchase of equipment consisting of 50 overalls, Gans 50, 50 overalls and 50 boots boots warmer protection against bees. Purchase of 2 extractor machines, 10 plastic barrels,10 plastics basins
The 100 beneficiaries of this project want to solve three key problems 1. There is a very large dificult to have fresh fish in the interior of the country as the fish of Lake Tanganyika have fled to the waters of neighboring countries. The fish fleeing Burundi because of pollution caused by toxic waste and thrown in the oil lakes. 2. bees flee the country because of deforestation and lack of reforestation program and the conservation of nature in Burundi. 3. Fight against unemployment.
To provide material and financial support to 50 women and 50 men to implement an environmental protection project by making 300 modern hives to repatriate bee colonies fleeing Burundi and also make an integrated fish farming project to protect fish like tilapia and catfish. This project contributes significantly to the fight against unemployment 100 beneficiaries as part of a low-income communities.
The protection and restoration of the environment is an important activity. The project created by the 100 beneficiaries have a positive impact because it creates employment for the communities had low incomes and allow them to provide for the basic needs of their households.
