Mahiga Hope HIgh School is an innovative, sustainable facility for hundreds of Kenyan students. This partnership between The Nobelity Project and the local community is a model school for rural Africa, with the Mahiga schools now educating 650 students from preschool thru 12th Grade. These modern classrooms and wonderful students still need desks, chairs, textbooks, science lab supplies and additional support for arts, music and science teachers. Join the Choir - Be one of 1000 Voices for Hope!

The Nobelity Project has partnered with a low-income community with great results for the local primary school. But education shouldn't end after the 8th grade. With no high school in the area, the children of Mahiga had few options in life. Be one of 1000 Voices for Hope! Join the Choir with our donors Willie Nelson, Lyle Lovett and Emily & Martie of The Dixie Chicks. 1,000 donors x $100 = HOPE! OUR GRAND OPENING ON OCTOBER 1 WAS GREAT, BUT WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT FOR THE SCIENCE LABS & GARDENS!

Matching funding has enabled The Nobelity Project and the community to build 8 modern classrooms, a computer lab and a library, kitchen and more. The award-winning RainWater Court is done and we are completing the biology, physics chemistry labs. Ongoing support will allow us to expand training in gardening.farming techniques, tailoring, and auto mechanics.

Long-Term Impact

To enable the education district to provide a full 12-year education for all local students, up to 100 students per grade. The aim is for every student to have a diploma and the qualifications for employment or advancement to Kenyan Universities and to be better skilled for employment.
