The Big Half on Sunday 4 March 2018, created by London Marathon Events Ltd, is a new half marathon race in the city of London. The Big Half will see up to 20,000 people run from Tower Bridge to Greenwich, passing through the boroughs of Southwark, Tower Hamlets, Lewisham and Greenwich. This year LYG have 16 runners who have trained extremely hard for this challenge. Give generously and give what you can! Every penny helps!
The London Youth Games Foundation, is a registered sports charity aiming to inspire all young Londoners to discover and achieve their full potential through sport. It organises Europe's largest youth sports festival in Summer and a season of events taking place over nine months including all 33 London boroughs across both School and Community Competitions across 30 different sports.
It aims to support and enable our volunteers in giving their time to help get young Londoners more active and bringing young people from across all of London's communities together in a supportive and fun environment.
Your support enables us to do things like provide training, give volunteers lunches on long event days and help with travel expenses for those who want to give their time but can't afford to pay for getting to events.
