By Linda Parsons | Lunch Buddy Coordinator
The North Clackamas Lunch Buddy program is off to an amazing start this school year. We currently have close to 70 mentor/mentee matches. This is up from 48 at this time last year. We are on target to break all mentor match records in the 20 year history of the North Clackamas Lunch Buddy program.
In addition to this wonderful news, the North Clackamas Lunch Buddy program is also going through a Quality Based Mentoring (QBM) program training with Oregon Mentors. The purpose of this 2 year training is to strengthen the Lunch Buddy program's current practices and standards. We are excited to see the improvements that we can make to an already outstanding mentoring program.
The Lunch Buddy office will be closed during the school winter break. We look forward to making more quality mentor/student matches in the new year!
