LIN's New Home!
Dear Friends and Supporters of LIN!
We are thrilled to announce that LIN has found a perfect new Home for Vietnam’s NPOs! It is a two-story house with enough space for all of the activities LIN has planned for the next 2 years. We can already envision the community center we have been dreaming about since 2009: a large room that can be used to organize workshops for NPOs and our monthly Second Chance Store; space for one-on-one consultations with NPOs, volunteers, and philanthropists; a small NPO library; LIN staff offices and more...
Like many new houses, ours is in need of some repairs, investment and warming up! As part of that process, the LIN Team would like to invite those of you who are in Vietnam to help us make the space more beautiful and give it some life before Tet!
Will you join LIN’s Painting Party on Saturday, 2 February, between 9am and Noon?
The doors will be open all morning for you to drop-by, check-out the new place, catch up with LIN team members, help us paint and decorate the house ahead of the Tet holiday and learn what we have planned for this new Home. We will have festive refreshments, hourly tours of the new space (9:30am, 10:30am, and 11:30am), a chance to share your own dreams for LIN, and even some safe art activities for kids.
When: 2 February (Saturday) - feel free to come anytime between 9:00am and 12:00pm
Where: 180/47 Nguyen Huu Canh, W22, Binh Thanh District (map attached)
To help us prepare enough creative tools, please RSVP by email email@example.com or phone: 84-83-824-6091.
Can’t join us on Saturday but you would like to support LIN's new Home for NPOs? Our New Year Lights fundraising campaign runs until 9 February. That means you still have time to:
We hope to see you on 2 February and we wish you well with your own Tet preparations too!
Note: Since 2009, the LIN team leaned on many companies to provide free or discounted office space for our team and venues for our meetings and events. We are so grateful to the companies that were willing to share their space with us. We would particularly like to thank Xu Corporation and Horizon Capital Advisors, as well as BetterWork, supporting LIN since 2011, and ERC supporting LIN since 2012. We also would like to thank Tinh Than Program, volunteer group Blue Dreams, and Huynh Tan Phat scholarship for providing space for LIN events in 2012!
