Dear Supporters,
We are writing to share a critical update regarding the Lifeline Ukraine project (#68119). Since October 2025, our national crisis hotline has been forced to temporarily pause its operations due to a severe shortage of resources required to maintain our team of professional consultants.
A Legacy of Resilience and Support Despite this challenging pause, our track record demonstrates the vital importance of this service for Ukraine:
6 Years of Service: October 2025 marked our 6th anniversary as a dedicated national support line.
100,000+ Consultations: Since our founding in 2019, we have provided over 100,000 life-saving consultations to veterans, their families, and civilians.
High Demand: Prior to the pause, we were handling an average of 6,000 requests per month, reflecting the immense mental health toll of the ongoing conflict.
Your Impact on GlobalGiving We are incredibly grateful to the 25 donors who have stood by us. Your contributions have helped us reach a total of $5,213 in donations. Thanks to your engagement and our transparent reporting, we have maintained our status as a "Leader" organization on the GlobalGiving platform.
Our Commitment to Return This pause is a difficult but necessary step as we work tirelessly to find the funding needed to ensure stable work for our specialists. Our goal is to return to being online 24/7 for everyone in crisis as soon as possible.
Every donation made during this period directly supports our efforts to restart the hotline and ensure that the next person who reaches out for help will find someone there to answer.
Thank you for your continued trust and support during this pivotal moment.
With gratitude,
The Lifeline Ukraine Team
