Concerned to provide Food, Education and Medical support to 100 AIDS infected and affected Orphan children in India.
MAITRI has designed a Foster Care Home for such AIDS affected children. We have developed a separate campus called Anbagam Children’s Village, constructed 10 independent houses and identified 10 committed widows affected by HIV/AIDS as Foster mothers. Each house has accommodated with 10 children. All the children are below 12 years. Nutritional food, education, and medical support are being provided to the children. The program helps the children to start a new life with self dignity.
The Foster Care Home program will provide Nutritional food, clothing, good education and periodical medical checkups to AIDS Orphan children. Character building activities will also be taken care.
This program will create a self-confidence among the children to face the challenged life. It will reduce the school dropouts which led to the reduction in the Child labor. The program will help the children to start a new life with self dignity.
