We are happy to report that we have been approved a Legislative Grant for the tax year 2013-2014. Unfortunately we did not receive all the funds that we had requested so we will still be short of funds to cover both employees normally covered by that grant. We also received approval for a Grant from the Department of Justice under the Victims of Crime programs. We grew to a total of 21 kids, including five toddlers (less than a year old). That was a challenge for the summer season since school was out and we had all the kids in house all day. Summer camp activities were provided by a group called: "Mujeres de Fe". A local hotel - Villa Montana, offered the use of their facilities for our kids who spent a whole day of play and food provided by the employees of the hotel. We also had a group from the PR Government, Department of the Controller who provided gifts for the kids and all the supplies for the upcoming "back to school" season. Several other activities were held by local church groups, including "Toque de Amor", "Iglesia Adventista", and "Voces del Cielo".
